Steel Reinforced Concrete
Reinforcing from hard drawn 6mm galvanised rod.
Klevabrick Function – CAD Drawing
2 x 20mm conduits cast into every Klevabrick
8mm loop bent into reinforcing to accommodate 8mm galvo bolt to lock adjacent Klevabricks together
5 deg schamfer to front face sheds rainwater at each course, and removes the need for cavity walls
Change of angle creates drip lip
6mm galvo reinforcing
25mpa vibrated concrete

Klevabrick – How it works
Inside face of a Klevabrick exterior wall
Slots for beam & block suspended flooring system for multi-storey construction.
10mmx20mm grove between adjacent Klevabricks for plaster plug to ensure both gas & watertight seal.
Bolted connection boxes.
Klevabricks self-supporting over windows/doors, which eliminates the use of lintels.
Plaster finish & oxide gives maintenance/paint free surface.
Standard roof structures bolted to the top course of Klevabrick and therefore through to the foundation.
Exposure to various communities have enthusiastically accepted shiplap profile to the outside face of their house.
Maintenance/paint free smooth off shutter surface.
Exterior shiplap profile finish with oxide
Imbedded electrical box linked to conduits
Bolted connection boxes.
10mmx20mm deep groves forms plaster plug to prevent gas & moisture penetration.
Electrical box can also be used for water points with 15mm pipes.
Klevabrick with a cast in electric box placed
wherever an electric or water point is required.
All conduits will line up.
First Klevabrick course bolted into floor slab.
Floor slab (175mm 25mpa) with 1 x 245 mesh, with 800mm Y12 reinforcing lengths to outside plinth concrete 120mm.
For poor soil conditions slab thickness – 200mm & 2 x 245 mesh.
Sewer and waste water pipes cast into floor slab.
Klevabricks set on foot shoes – floor slab casting
Klevabrick interior wall – flat on both sides
Alternative bolt positions – precast holes to attach walls using 10mm sleeve anchors.
Standard steel door frame grouted into position.
Bolt connection boxes and groves closed and sealed by plaster.
Interior Klevabricks are bolted into the floor slab on alternative sides at both ends of their length. This makes the wall laterally stable and can be built as a free-standing wall without column support.
No maintenance/paint free surface.
Klevabricks can be cast with any colour oxide for different house colours.
Example of various coloured Klevabrick.
Plaster finish & oxide gives – no maintenance
